Maximilien Dambax is Global Head of Real Assets at Alter Domus. With extensive experience in client services, fund management, and regulatory compliance, Maximilien has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation across various asset classes.
Since joining Alter Domus in 2008, Maximilien has held numerous leadership roles, including Co-Regional Executive for Europe, where he oversees Private Credit, Real Assets, Key Client Partnerships, and Regulatory and AIFM Services. From 2020 to 2025, he was the Head of Fund and Corporate Services and subsequently led the delivery of Key Client Partnerships for the Group.
Prior to his current role, Maximilien served as Head of Fund Services North America from 2018 to 2020 and as Director at Alter Domus Luxembourg, where he successfully launched and managed debt fund services at the group level. He has also been an active member of the Securitisation Task Force and the IFRS desk, providing both internal and external training.
Maximilien has co-chaired the Distressed Assets working group at ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry) and the Debt Funds working group at LPEA (Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association). He is a recognized thought leader, regularly publishing articles on Fund Administration for Alternative Assets.
Before joining Alter Domus, Maximilien was an auditor at Ernst & Young in Luxembourg. He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from ISC Paris.
