NEW YORK, August 3rd, 2026 – Alter Domus, dedicated to unleashing growth in private markets through expertise, powered by data and technology, is pleased to have supported Pantheon in connection with the successful closing of its inaugural private equity Collateralized Fund Obligation (“CFO”), which closed at $1 billion, exceeding its initial target of $750 million.

Announced by Pantheon on May 7, 2026, the transaction marks an important milestone in the firm’s continued evolution as a leading global private markets investor and reflects sustained institutional demand for structured, capital-efficient access to private equity. The rated vehicle provides institutional investors — including insurance companies and other regulated capital allocators — with diversified exposure to Pantheon’s flagship private equity secondaries and co-investment strategies, backed by a high-quality portfolio of predominantly middle-market assets diversified by sector, geography, and vintage.

Transactions of this nature demand deep operational expertise, precision, and seamless cross-border coordination. Alter Domus served as Pantheon’s operational partner throughout the transaction lifecycle, providing comprehensive support across financial modelling, closing processes, legal documentation coordination, investor onboarding, and transaction execution. Teams across the United States and Luxembourg collaborated closely with Pantheon over the course of more than a month, delivering hands-on daily operational support to help ensure a smooth and successful close.

Commenting on the transaction, Greg Myers, Managing Director, Client & Industry Solutions DCM at Alter Domus, said: “We are proud to have served as Pantheon’s operational partner on this landmark transaction. The successful close of their inaugural private equity CFO is a testament to Pantheon’s leadership in private markets and the growing sophistication of institutional demand for structured private equity exposure. Transactions like this underscore the critical role that experienced operational partners play in navigating complexity — and we look forward to continuing to support Pantheon as they build on this milestone.”
