London, October 15th, 2026 — Alter Domus, the strategic partner that unleashes growth in private markets through expertise, powered by data and technology, is pleased to have supported Cinven on the final closing of their Strategic Fund 2 (“SF2”) which raised c. €2.3 billion, exceeding the target fund size by c. 50%.

The c. €2.3bn close represents a circa 75% increase on its predecessor fund, Cinven’s Strategic Financials Fund. SF2 gives investors access to a differentiated European mid-market strategy led by a dedicated investment team targeting high-growth, asset-light opportunities across Financial Services, Business Services, and Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT). SF2 has already signed four investments: Objectway, Flint Global, Ongoing Warehouse and Optio Group.

A fund close of this scale demands rigorous operational support across every stage of the fundraising lifecycle. Alter Domus served as Cinven’s operational partner throughout, providing services across fund accounting and administration, investor reporting, transfer agency and structuring support — working closely alongside the Cinven team to deliver a seamless and successful close.

Charlotte Hogg, Chief Executive Officer at Alter Domus, said: “We are proud to have been Cinven’s operational partner for the successful close of Strategic Fund 2. Exceeding fund close target by 50% in today’s environment speaks to the strength of Cinven’s strategy and investor relationships, and it reflects exactly the kind of high-quality, complex work that Alter Domus exists to support.”

Isabel Gomez Vidal, Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Group Executive Team at Alter Domus, added: “Our partnership with Cinven on SF2 is a strong example of what we can deliver when deep private markets expertise matches the ambition of our clients. Supporting a fund of this scale from fundraising through to close demands precision and trust on both sides, and we are proud of what our teams have achieved together. We look forward to continuing to support Cinven as they deploy the fund and build on this success.”
