Elliott Brown is an accomplished executive in the alternative fund services industry, currently serving as the Global Head of Private Equity at Alter Domus. With extensive experience in product management, P&L oversight, and client relations, Elliott has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation across various asset classes and fund structures.
Before joining Alter Domus, Elliott was the Managing Director and Head of Alternatives at Bank of New York Mellon, where he managed a global P&L exceeding $1 billion and led a team of over 2,700 professionals. His strategic initiatives included redefining business strategies and securing mandates from leading private equity managers.
Elliott’s previous role as Managing Director and Head of Product Management at Citco Fund Services saw him oversee global product management for hedge funds and private equity, managing a team of 150 across 12 countries. He was instrumental in developing key solutions, including automated investor processing and ESG reporting, and led a transformative $100 million program to enhance Citco’s fund accounting platform.
Elliott also spent 18 years at JPMorgan, where he held various leadership roles, including Managing Director of Global Product Executive for Hedge Fund Services. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment. Outside of work, Elliott is a competitive sailor, having completed over 15,000 miles of ocean racing.
