Joaquín Alzamora is Chief Transformation Officer at Alter Domus.
Joaquín Alzamora joined Alter Domus in October 2025 as Chief Transformation Officer and a member of the Group Executive Board.
With more than 25 years of international experience in finance, banking, and strategy consulting, Joaquín previously served as Chief Financial Officer at PagoNxt, Santander’s global payments company. Before that, he was the Executive Committee Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Santander UK, where he was in charge of M&A. Prior to that role, he was the Head of Finance for Santander UK’s Retail and Commercial Banking unit.
Earlier in his career, Joaquín was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where, as a member of its Financial Institutions Practice, he served clients worldwide. He also worked as a software engineer at Andersen Consulting.
A dual Spanish and British national, Joaquín holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE and an MBA from INSEAD (Spanish Council Scholar).
