Michael Janiszewski is Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Michael has been Chief Operating Officer and member of the Group Executive Board since November 2023. He is based in New York.

Mike is a proven executive leader with global industry, consulting, and investor experience. Mike’s 20+ year track record spans strategy/corporate development, business development, client service, business transformation, operational excellence, digital innovation, new venture creation, private equity, and high-performance team development.

Prior to joining Alter Domus, Mike served as Chief Operating Officer for BNY Mellon’s Securities Services and Digital business where he was responsible for strategy, pricing, digital, business operations, and ensuring alignment with product development, sales, client management, and operations/technology partnerships. 

Mike began his career as a founder of a company which operated in the nascent technology infrastructure and security industry.

He later transitioned to join one of the pioneer management consulting firms focused on solving problems at the intersection of strategy and technology. During this time, Mike led business, operations, and technology strategy development for clients who ranged from rapidly growing startups to mature industry leaders.

Mike later was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), co-leading the business strategy practice focused on the financial services industries.

After PwC, he served as Global Head of Investment and Distribution Services and Chief Digital Officer for a global, top 20 asset management firm where his organization received multiple industry awards for operations and technology innovation.

Mike is also experienced as a private equity investor focused on middle-market businesses within services, advertising, insurance, consumer & retail, food & beverage and software industries.

Mike graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Electrical Engineering and a Certificate in Applications of Computing. He also holds an MBA with Honors Beta Gamma Sigma from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Finance, Accounting, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship.
