Frequently asked Questions
Who can participate in the program?
Any person who would like to participate can. Depending on the research we are completing, different industries or levels of an organization may be leveraged. So, no one should feel like their position or experience would not be valuable.
What is the time commitment for participations
Initial time commitments are limited. An introductory meeting will take place, where new program members will discuss their background, interests, and availability. From that point forward, participants who are relevant to a research topic may be contacted to see if they are available to participate in that project. Timeframe and commitments will be discussed at that time, though participation in that campaign is not required.
How do I register?
Those interested in participating in the program should fill out this form. Their information will be sent to the MIP team, who will reach out to set up a welcome call.
What business lines or sectors do we focus on?
Generally, the program does not have a specific business line, industry, or sector that we target for research; however, most large projects are dictated by the business units at Alter Domus. Therefore, we primarily work with those with experience related to those sectors. The needs can vary. So, we address a wide range of needs, including technology, market conditions, user research, etc. For more information on the different Alter Domus business lines, refer to the firm’s website.
How is the program funded?
The program has its own funding channel, from Alter Domus, to include funds for assigned projects, marketing, and general research. So, participating business units or the general public are not responsible for any fees or other costs associated with the program.
What are the benefits to participants?
The benefits depend on participation level and connection to Alter Domus. As primary objectives of the program are to develop relationships between firms, better understand the needs of the marketplace, and support the creation of new technologies, all participants should gain additional knowledge that may be valuable to their business.
However, those who have a direct connection to Alter Domus will have the opportunity to provide input into new solutions and development. Likewise, internal teams will have support on research and development.
Is there a primary contact for the program?
The program has a growing team; however, Brandon Clark is the manager of the program and leads all campaigns. He can be contacted directly, with regards to new initiatives, participation, and recruitment. He works with a number of internal and external partners on the program and can point those with specific questions to relevant resources, when needed.
Where can I get additional information on the program?
The Market Intelligence Program has a devoted webpage, on the Alter Domus website. Those who are looking for more information on participation, strategies, goals, and previous research can review that page.
You may also contact the MIP team directly, via the registration form. This is not a commitment to participate. Rather, agreement to set up an initial meeting to discuss the program, availability, etc.
Is the program a sales arm of Alter Domus?
No. The MIP is not selling any products, programs, or solutions. Instead, we look to assist in research, development, and implementation – based on direct and indirect market feedback, client needs, and business unit priorities.
